SMS Manager
The SMS Manager provides an easy and convienient way to send Mobile Phone text messages from your computer.
Compose
- Type in the mobile phone numbers you wish to send a text message to. Alternatively, click on 'To...' to choose recipients from your Address Book.
- Type in your message (max 156 characters)
- Type in your Sender ID - the recipient(s) will see the Sender ID as the sender of the text message. You can enter a name or a phone number.
- Click on the send button to send the message immediately.
Outbox
Messages waiting to be sent are shown here.
Sent Items
Messages that you have sent are shown here. You can safely delete the log of any sent messages.
Address Book
View and maintain your Address Book of numbers.
You can filter your view by selecting one of:
- All Numbers
- Named Numbers
- Unnamed Numbers
Groups
Groups give you the ability to send a message out to a number of recipients at once. You can view and maintain your Address Book Groups here.
Please contact us if you have a large number of contacts to add to a group. Our data processing department can quickly add these to your customer account.
Purchase Credits
You can purchase further credits for sending SMS messages.
Customers
As a promoter you can sell SMS services to your customer base. This will allow you to create Promotions on behalf of your customers and effectively manage and monitor each of your customers promotions.
On the main page you'll see a list of your existing customers. You can edit or delete customers from your list here. Click on New to add a new customer. The account field is a unique reference to each customer.

Promotion Customer
If you are creating the promotion for your own company then please select 'Yourself'.
You can act on behalf of one of your customers when creating promotions. To do so, create a customer account using the link and then select the option 'A customer' to create the promotion for your customer. Creating a promotion on behalf of your customers allows you to sell SMS services to them with you acting as the agent.
Promotion Wizard - Step 1/4
Promotion Name
Use this to identify your promotion. This field is private to your account and is to help you identify a promotion.
Promotion Code
The promotion code is the code the user will enter first in their text message to identify your promotion. e.g. MIKES
Description
Describe the promotion. This field is private to your account.
Sender ID
The receiver of a message will see the Sender ID as the sender of the text message.

Question Competition
Allows you to run a competition for fun or prizes. Pose a question and SMS live Marketing will automatically check and return a message offering congratulations or commiserations.
Entry Competition
Useful for when you want to give a prize out to every 10th (for example) customer.
Coupon/Information
Respond to requests for information automatically. A coupon can be returned that can provide special offers, free gifts etc.
Standard Database Service
Ideal for when you want to give out a range of information, such as opening times, events, house details etc. Maximum of 7 entries.
Advanced Database Service
As the standard database service but unlimited entries are allowed.

What question are you asking the customer?
Correct Answer
A customer's answer must match this to be deemed 'correct'.
Add unique code to response
When selected each correct response will contain a unique code which can be checked against the list available on this site so the entry can be authenticated.
Limit to one entry per customer
A customer can only enter the competition once per mobile phone.
Response for correct answer
Message to send to a winning customer.
Response for incorrect answer
Message to send to a losing customer.
Response for expired promotion
Message to send to a customer who enters the competition after the closing date.

Code user will send to get the corresponding Response.
Response
Message user will be sent in response to the matching request.
Response for unmatched request
Message to send to a customer when the request cannot be matched or the customer has not supplied a Request code.
Response for expired promotion
Message to send to a customer who enters the competition after the closing date.

Request

Promotion Wizard - Step 4/4 - Promotion Settings
Start Date and time
The date and time the promotion will start. Be sure to give yourself time to advertise the promotion.
End Date and Time
The date and time the promotion will finish.
Responses Limit
You can limit the total number of responses you wish a promotion to handle. As part of the promotion fee you get 25 responses and extra responses can be purchased.
Create Promotion
Click on the Create button below to create the promotion and add it to your account.
Once the promotion has been created you will then be able to activate it.
You only have to pay for this promotion once it has been activated.
You are then given the option to Enable the promotion along with details of the promotion and instructions on what you should put onto your marketing material.
You can alter the details of a promotion at any time up until the promotion is activated.
